Abstract
Smart sensors are transforming irrigation management by providing real-time data on soil moisture, weather conditions, and crop needs. Their integration into precision agriculture allows for optimized water distribution, ensuring that crops receive the exact amount of water required for growth. This not only increases food growth but also saves water, which helps solve the problem of not having enough water around the world. Smart monitors help cut down on human mistake, water waste, and running costs by automated watering processes. Through controlled watering, they play a big part in cutting down on energy use and stopping land loss. These monitors also make it easier to gather important data that can be used to plan future farming activities and make farms more productive overall. Smart watering systems are becoming easier to use and more effective, even though they come with problems like high starting costs and upkeep. As farming becomes more environmentally friendly, using smart sensors in irrigation could be a good way to improve water management, make sure there is enough food, and encourage farmers to be more eco-friendly.
