Abstract
The growth of mobile devices has had an impact on a wide range of human pursuits, including education. The objective of this research was to explore the opinion of students on the use of a mobile application to teach students new English vocabulary and phrases. After downloading and using the application for a period of one semester, a total of twenty-eight college students responded to a questionnaire survey using pen and paper. They were able to better prepare for the final achievement test, learning was accessible from any place and at any time, students loved the corrective feedback, and students would like to see the mobile app utilised in further courses taught by the faculty. On the other hand, the data suggest that the students stated that the app did not provide a very supportive environment with respect to the performance of communication interactions.
